Inhalt:
Hip Hop can be considered as one of the most popular and widespread youth cultures. An abundance of possibilities for educational influence arises due to its low-threshold approach. Consequently, professional productions can be achieved with little financial means and a few sound engineering basics. The seminar aims to discuss important questions regarding Hip Hop and adolescence as well as to instill the necessary basic knowledge that is needed to equip a small project studio and to realize small productions.Empfehlungen zu speziellen Kenntnissen und Bereitschaften:
All participants should not only bring an interest in Hip Hop but music in general. Musical and technical previous knowledge is not necessary but useful. A certain degree of technical affinity and the willingness to deal intensively with PCs and software is mandatory.Arbeitsformen:
Lectures, Demonstrations on PC/Beamer, independent work on PC- workstationsPrüfungsleistungen bzw. Testat:
A self-created Hip Hop-song with the help of the shareware sequencer software Cockos Reaper and a short summary on the implementation of the acquired knowledge regarding social work with adolescents.Sonstige Informationen:
The required software consists of shareware and freeware programs that either can be freely downloaded from the internet or from all PC-workstations. Download links will be provided during the seminar.Basisliteratur:
